New Brunswick Temperature Dropped Below Freezing Last Night.

It doesn’t matter how much I love summer it ends every single year, just like clock work and this year is no different. It began last night by dropping below freezing. I saw it coming as the temps began to drop as our latest full moon phased in and out.
Our first year of gardening is coming to an end. We learned a lot and had a great time with our first real backyard garden. What we learned this year will make for an even better gardening season next year.
As much as I love summer for the warmth I love fall for the spectacular colours our trees go through before they fall to earth and fall into a deep winter sleep.
As a bit of a fly fishing fanatic the fall means Atlantic salmon fishing at it’s best. I seem to catch more salmon in the short fall period than I do through the entire spring and summer.
I have never been one to take a lot of pictures as I usually need a tripod and remote in order to not take shaky images but this year I bought a new video camera that is suppose to help people like me that shake a lot. I will try to get a few shots of the changes fall brings with it and share them here on my blog. Nothing can top the red and orange colours that our trees take on as the temperature drops.
Yesterday our backyard garden was full of bird filling up on what ever they can and getting ready for that trip south, we will see them again next spring I am sure. There were hundreds of them. It’s so cool so see them all move like synchronized swimmers and moved like a wave when ever a car drove by.
