It was dry for the first part and then through the end of July and all of August it rain, almost daily. For slugs I do two things. 1. I pick off any slugs that make it to a plant. Of course you need to destroy those you pick off. Don't just through them. :) 2. I try to put tin foil up the stock of the plant to prevent anything from crawling up the stalk to the leaves. And there are slugs in the garden big ones at that please give me some info.
