Out With The Old And In With New, Drive Way Paver Stones That Is
Jenny and I managed to get a pretty good deal on our home and even got the lot next door as part of the deal however it still took every penny we had to get it.
The entire property needed a lot of work to make it our own and that included a new driveway to replace the broken asphalt drive we have now.
Saving Money For Drive Way Paver Stone Design
Here in Moncton we still have a lot of people who have gravel driveways so we should feel blessed to have an asphalt driveway but I don’t because it’s going to be expensive to fix and I still won’t like it so we are saving to actually replace it with paving stones.
It’s going to take us a while longer but that gives us time to learn more about paver stone drives. I have been watching DIY shows, landscaping and gardening programs and have seen a lot of drive way designs that look awesome.
Just this morning I found a site that has many drive way designs that would look great for our driveway. I think I recognised a couple of the design layouts. I do a lot of walking around Moncton to keep healthy and have seen some driveways that have a similar designs.
I have been walking past these homes since we bought our home, almost 10 years ago now, and each new year I look to see if any of the driveways have heaved. They all seem to look great but I can’t say the same about our asphalt driveway. It’s bumpy, cracked and has grass and weeks growing out of it. Maybe 2013 is the year we get a new driveway.
At the same time we have a new driveway with pavers installed we will replace the two walkways that go from the sidewalk to the front door and from the driveway to the front door. We also want to have paver path go through the gardens on our second lot which will make it even more attractive.

I really believe the success of your paver stone driveway will depend on how well the site is prepared and the ability of the paver. Something to think about if you plan to tackle it yourself. Good luck, they certainly do improve the entrance to your home. All the best.
