		<description>Yes, great points! Also, in terms of organic fertilizers, they really perform better than synthetic ones in the long run. They leach out of the soil much more slowly than synthetics and so are available to plants in a more consistent, long-lasting way. Plus, for container vegetable gardening (which I&#039;m most familiar with), they&#039;re even more beneficial since synthetics tend to be washed away pretty quickly with the more frequent waterings, while organics remain available for a much longer period. Organic fertilizers may seem to cost a little more, but if you think about it, actually they&#039;re pretty cost-effective.
