Planning Your Garden

We found out, last summer, that preparation and planning our garden is important. Especially if we want to have a harvest like other gardeners.

Yeah we messed up last year and planted everything too late to do more than watch them grow. We had some produce but I am sure if we had started just one month earlier we would have had enough to share with neighbours.

The best gardening tips I can give you is to plan your garden well in advance of planting. That is why we are planning in January this year.

I am heading to our local nursery to get what we need to start seeds early this year. Those seeds we don’t find locally we will order from Veseys.com so we will have them before it’s time to start them.

I have already ordered a free Veseys catalogue.

I am already reading the Veseys Planting Guide so we give our garden, both flowers and vegetables, a fighting chance this year.
