I remember visiting a neighbor’s garden several months ago and noticing how his garden decor and garden ornaments unmistakably added something meaningful to the entire garden experience.  The bird feeders, sculptures, birdhouses, vases, and water fountains were especially striking and seemed to ensnare me into the garden and make me feel more at ease.

I have learned through the things that have happened in my life that the special decorations individuals add to their gardens augment the distinctiveness of their garden and can express the gardener’s personality.  Moreover, garden decor items also add enjoyment and pleasure to the whole garden experience.

Why People Add Eccentric But Wonderful Decorative Accessories to Their Garden

From a different vantage point, why do garden lovers add eccentric but grand things such as old pots and pans, old sinks, bathtubs, or old wheelbarrows to their gardens?  In the same way, why do so many people have different accents such as scarecrows, vases, sculptures, sundials, or wind chimes in their gardens?

Have you ever observed a lot of different birds in the gardens you have visited?  If so, don’t be too astonished to learn that the gardener has invited our fair-feathered friends by including birdbaths, bird feeders, or birdhouses in her or his garden.

There is a solid reason why gardens can add peace of mind and a way to get away from the vicious circle of our turbulent lives.  The ground cover, flowers, plants, and the garden decor all combine to create a special place that is isolated and insulated from the anxiety and tension of our daily lives.
