Well there is not too much to say about myself as a gardener. I was raised from the age 8 to 15 on a farm and gardening wasn’t just for fun. The garden was a place to grow the vegetables that would feed us through the winter, so it was a task and not a hobby.
It wasn’t until 25 or so years later that I actually became a gardener, along with my wife, and we enjoy it as a hobby. It’s great to see things grow and not just veggies, we grow all kinds of things now so our vegetable garden has a now grown into a flower garden as well.
We live on the east coast of Canada and get some pretty severe weather so know what will grow best here takes some planning and a bit of learning but that’s what makes it so enjoyable, over coming the odds.
We love having a green house as a store and starter area.
There are many types of green houses available because there are so many places you can use them. We started with a small area in our garage and then moved outside and as time moved on we went to a bigger one that should be just fine for the size of our property.

Seems we have a lot in common–I’ve enjoyed your blog, and would be happy to contribute a post if you’d like.
